The Fan-Zine were printed, the tribute happend, more came over the years (you find it all if you will have your looks over this website), and there were more that came out of the club, as the next logical step, maybe... Loudmouth! (the title of one of the first songs Ramones ever wrote) in origin were taken as the name of the Fan-Zine in 1994 but then it became the name of the group of people who, beside of the Ramones-thing, promoted concerts and some tours with personal favourite bands and also some special events in our hometown Düsseldorf.

Of course and surely, there were more than just us- them, whom we never met in this glorious times, but who were as crazy as us Ramones-fans, before us and while us. We did not met everyone of those people then, but, strange enough, we even did not met everyone, who- same as we- had the luck to come a bit closer to the band. There were some, we do know today (instead we do not know if it is all of them) who were at the same shows as we were and partly even backstage there. It seems, the world was not a little place at this times. But thanks to whom ever, there are a lot of people we met, from different parts of the world... followers like us. Us, (some of) the german ones of that circle of travelling Ramones-fans, also known as the crazy caravan (that name was created by the italian squad), who found each other one by one, here or there, and travelled together to... follow, you know. From the middle of nowhere to the big apple and back and again, while our holidays from work or while skipping schooldays (sometimes with faked excuses), never caring about the prices of fuel, trains or flights. Through the sun, the rain, storms and all seasons- for one destination: seeing and hearing Ramones, anywhere, whereever. Might be, one day not only Ramones were the only reason (even they ever stayed the main one), but also the time we spent together. It was a great time, long ago, history now like Ramones are a part of history now. And unforgotten. We are not growed up more than then, we are just older. There is a lot to talk about here. We had the great luck to meet the band and the people around them in persons a lot of times, we were backstage and at soundchecks, in their hotels for talks. Sometimes we had walks through the cities we have been to, to buy souvenirs or watching sights with them, we had dinners with them, and from time to time we were hanging around in the nightlife with some of them. It was normal to us, it just sounds like it was bizarre. They were nice people, easy to handle, good to talk with. This website is to remember that times, and what came out of this following.
INTRODUCTION (A kind of foreword, indeed)
In 1993, the year before Ramones celebrated their 20 th Anniversary, some of us (the Düsseldorf-Group) started with plans for a special edition of a Fan-Zine and for a tribute concert in Düsseldorf, to celebrate and to show our respect and love to this band. All Ramones supported it right from the beginning, they liked the idea up from the moment we talked about that with them and at least they officialized the whole thing then, even for the future. As Johnny Ramone said then: " If there's someone who should do it, it should be YOU, Guys !". Well, may someone HAD to do it then...
A couple of friends were with us, who never been followers (but of course they all love Ramones , who does not? ). That is why we thought for a (long) while to separate both things, our Ramones-Club and -thing and the other events we showed up. But why? First it was irritating some people and the other good reason is: one would not be without the other. Without the first Ramones-tribute we would not have done other concerts; without the other concerts there would have been no more other Ramones-tributes... it belongs together, and everything began with RAMONES . It is in your decision about what you want to know whatever about, You can click the pages you want...
Just a couple of days before the first Ramones-Tribute on September 9, 1994 Arturo Bassick , singer and bassplayer for the legendary LURKERS from London (who were booked for the Tribute- this was not a hard job to do, because we were friends and he liked the idea and trusted us in what we were doing) asked us, if we could do a show with 9 9 9 (another english long and still running punkband where Arturo plays in, too) the following november. It was a day-off for them while travelling from the east of Germany to France. This meant, we would only have two months time to organize everything and to do a proper promotion for it, but we said yes, even we did not knew that moment, how succesfull the first Ramones-tribute became then. The experiences we had with the organizing for the first tribute (with ten bands in all and a big venue at least) were not all good ones, and real stressy, but we liked it, so we got another of our favourite bands to promote. At least everyone were satisfied, sold-out-venues at both nights (around 950 at the tribute and around 450 at 9 9 9) , and more shows to do even with that bands... the best compliment to get.
The little Loudmouth! and the She-Loudmouth!- more than a logo, a happy family.
Arturo Bassick says about: " The Loudmouth!-Team did a bunch of shows for both bands I play in, The Lurkers and 999. They have been always professional and did always great jobs... It was always fun to work (and drink)... with them! "

When we organized and promoted gigs, and it does not matter how much people were in the audience/how big the venue was, it made us a kind of addicted to. It is a strange mixture of stress and trouble (especially with the bands) with fighting for the best possible result for everyone. All the work seems to be forgotten then, when the show starts. Everyone is high motivated with fun and energy. Well, we grewed up with that thing. We never had the ambition to do it as a fulltime job, nor even making enough money by it for a living, which seems to be impossible anyway. But we are thankful to did it the way we did it in the time we did it. As a professional hobby, so to say. There were enough reasons to stop, some not to talk about, the main one is the most simple one: Time. Surely we could have done more with more bands, and might be we were too good to the bands sometimes, we did everything with more than 100 procent, with heart and soul, that is good to know when looking back. We are sure, every band we worked with would like to work with us again, even today, ask them if you want to. And there is still life in the old dog called Loudmouth! ( never forget the ! ) so you never know what can and will come. If you are interested in more of it all, look around...
